I have a wide range of science outreach experience, ranging from the classroom to the museum to the middle of the woods. During the school year I spend my days teaching science for 2-4th graders at Columbus Academy. Before beginning my career in formal education, I spent four years on the outreach team at COSI - making slime, exploding water bottles, and more! I also have experience as camp director at Camp Mary Orton, and as a naturalist at the Cincinnati Nature Center. I have B.A.s in science education and environmental science.

I started my science outreach journey as an undergraduate student doing science demos for local schools and communities through the society for physics students. Some of the activities I learned then are still present in some form today at Discovery2Go! Currently I teach middle school STEM at Wellington. Before joining the classroom I honed my science outreach skills at COSI, driving amazing science activities all around the Midwest. I have a B.A. in Physics and a M.Sc. in Biophysics.
